What made you want to become a real estate agent?
I was 26 when I got my license. I didn’t like the traditional 9 to 5 work schedule, so this schedule appealed to me.
What is your favorite thing about being a real estate agent?
Being able to help people with that big decision!
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone looking to buy/sell a home?
Definitely talk to a Realtor. A lot of people watch HGTV and think they know what to do, but it’s not that easy.
Which part of the buying/selling process excites you the most, why?
I’m honestly just excited to see unique and interesting homes and the reactions of my clients to those homes.
What characteristic(s) makes you a great agent?
Patience and my ability to listen.
What is your favorite thing to do in Richmond?
Cycle or walk to the river.
What are you typically doing when you aren’t working?
Hanging out with friends.
How long have you been a Realtor?
A little over 16 years.
What is the first thing that catches your eye when you walk into a home?
The paint colors and flooring.
What is something your clients can expect when they work with you?
A smooth, seamless, stress free process.
What did you do before you became a Realtor?
I worked in banking for about 6 years.
How has the pandemic changed the way you work with clients?
I use a lot of hand sanitizer and masks and do more virtual showings.
