Kim Stembridge is a seasoned REALTOR with experience and training that encompasses all areas of residential real estate. Formally educated in business and interior design with a professional background that includes the sale and purchase of primary homes, second homes, and investment properties, Kim is prepared to show her clients all the benefits of home ownership.
Kim has been an active, licensed REALTOR for the past 13 years. She originally earned her broker’s license from the state of North Carolina in 2005. For nine years, she worked in the Outer Banks for local legend Sun Realty. Kim spent her formative years as a REALTOR representing families looking to buy and sell their primary residences as well as investors looking to expand their portfolios through the purchase of vacation home rentals. As a result, Kim has a deep understanding of the complexities associated with vacation properties and successful investment strategies as well as a long list of happy clients living in their year round homes. Now back in Virginia, Kim is a fully-licensed REALTOR with the Commonwealth and works closely with buyers and sellers throughout the Metro Richmond area.
Raised in Midlothian and the surrounding area, Kim and her husband, Dan, purchased their family home in 2014 and settled into the Salisbury neighborhood with their three children. Kim has a natural affinity for her hometown and enjoys selling homes in and around her community. Having witnessed the growth and evolution of Chesterfield County, Kim considers herself a local expert and is anxious to share her experiences with each client.
A graduate of Monacan High School, Kim went on to earn a B.S. in Business Administration from Mary Washington University. She later earned a B.F.A. in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduating from VCU, Kim enjoyed several years working as an Interior Designer with Decorum in Richmond, VA.
Kim's spare time is consumed with two things - family and travel. The Stembridge family is full of athletes and Kim happily volunteers her time with Weaver Athletic Association and Virginia International Gymnastics. Whenever time allows, Kim enjoys traveling anywhere that promises a new adventure. She is also quick to find her way back to OBX whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Kim is a member of the Richmond Association of Realtors and the Outer Banks Association of Realtors.
